The nearby waterfall and river walk were lovely, and the trek wasn't difficult. The food was another highlight. The lady boss is an amazing cook, and the meal was delicious. We also loved that it was pet friendly. Our dogs had such a good time, and there were five other dogs on site. Some were really helpful and followed us on the nature treks. My partner and I love rustic getaways like this. It's very basic, no frills, but clean and comfy enough, with nature all around. I did wish we had a private bathroom so we could do our business peacefully, but that's part of the experience and I can't complain. The other lovely experiences more than made up for it. Super recommended if you're after a chill adventure! 😍

The owner was very chatty and open to a conversation, which was nice since there isn't much to do in the evening. The dogs were everywhere but all friendly and well behaved. At night, you hear little animals and insects, and waking up to a rooster instead of my phone alarm was a great experience. The owner said animals sometimes come out of the nearby forest, even elephants, so I wouldn't wander around at night. There's a waterfall about a ten minute walk away. The garden sits close to the forest, and getting back to simplicity and nature felt refreshing. Dinner was plentiful and tasty, with organic vegetables straight from the farm. The food was lightly seasoned, with no oil, and there was a simple breakfast too. On rainy days, water ants were everywhere, and several crawled on me while I was showering, which was irritating. The shower had a heater, but the mountain water was perhaps too cold for it to feel warm. It wasn't too cold, though. The bedroom and bathroom are separate and take several steps to reach. Both are open air, so I couldn't use the bathroom when it rained. It got very cold overnight, and I didn't need to turn on the fan.
