This no-frills hotel is comfortable enough for a good night’s rest, with air conditioning, a work desk, queen bed and a hot shower. Towels are provided, but there are no free drinks or bathroom basics like soap and shampoo. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and a mini-mart next door.

The shower has good pressure and there’s proper parking. A 7elevan is surprisingly just a two minute walk away. It’s clean, though the white linen could be cleaner, especially since it should be bright white.

I had a bad stay and wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The room was dirty and smelly, and they hadn’t changed the sheets. The toilet was dirty too, and the whole room smelled like a guys’ hostel, a "bilik Bujang." Management needs to improve things before selling rooms here.

Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy, with two spacious double beds, all for a cheap price. I’d stay again on a future trip to Perlis.
