The host was super friendly, and the neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. The homestay has a nice interior, sufficient facilities, and a water pump that gives good pressure. There’s room to park two cars in the driveway. It’s in a very good location, with supermarkets and the best Terengganu warung breakfast nearby. I recommend it.

The homestay is clean, in good condition, and well looked after. My complaint is the payment arrangement: you have to bank in the deposit and the full amount when booking. If you cancel for any reason, they return only the deposit and keep the full payment. I’ve never encountered that system elsewhere. Keeping the deposit or booking fee would make sense, since that’s normal practice. After checkout, I had to remind the owner twice before getting my deposit back. Very disappointing.

It was good overall, though there’s room for improvement. The landlord could consider installing a water heater.

It has the basics, with plenty of space, and it’s clean. Nothing to complain about.

The price is reasonable, and the place is clean and spacious with proper amenities. It’s close to Kangar town.
