Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel

The service was warm, genuine, and attentive throughout my stay at Wyndham Acmar Klang, and I'd return without hesitation. My Executive Suite was spacious and elegantly furnished, with a level of comfort that made me want to stay longer. The night-time pool was beautifully lit and peaceful, and the large, immaculate gym had equipment that serious gym-goers would appreciate. There's also a 24-hour express mart in the lobby, a handy thing to have when you need something late. The Weekend Hi Tea Buffet at T Café is worth a visit. I've tried hi tea buffets across Asia this year, and this one was among the best. The Crispy Butter Milk Chicken with Curry Leaves was aromatic and moreish; the Grilled Mini Chicken Patty with Spicy Pesto Cream was boldly flavoured and well executed. I also liked the slow-cooked depth in the Chinese Style Chili Beef Stew, the fresh balance of the Stir Fried Squid with Leek and Celery, the hearty Creole Tomato Rice with Sausages, and the comforting Potato with Vegetables and Tomato Au Gratin. Breakfast at T Café was consistently excellent on both mornings. At the Lobby Lounge, live bands made the evenings feel relaxed yet sophisticated, and the monthly cocktail and mocktail promotions went nicely with the Deep Fried Samosas.

I checked in at Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel for the first time on 31 May 2026. I finished the check-in process around 2:45 PM, but my room key didn't arrive until about 3:30 PM, half an hour after the official 3:00 PM check-in time. If I hadn't gone back to ask at the counter, I don't know how much longer I'd have waited. Nobody told me parking would cost extra, which was an unpleasant surprise. Room 603 wasn't as clean as I expected, and one of the bed legs was broken. I reported it that evening and waited about an hour with no one coming to inspect it. Only when I was about to go to bed did I get a call asking if staff could come and check. I don't want compensation, just want to share what happened. For a hotel promoted as 5-star, the service and room condition didn't meet that standard for me. This was my first stay and will be my last. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and improves.

The Westport Malaysia Annual Dinner was a memorable night in a beautiful hotel, and everything went well from start to finish. The place looked stunning and was spotlessly clean, with a pleasant fragrance throughout that added to the premium feel. The facilities were satisfying to use and well maintained, including the surau and restrooms. The night-shift staff deserve a shoutout, they were professional, attentive, and excellent throughout our event. I'd recommend it for corporate events or a comfortable stay.

The food was tasty, with plenty of choice, and the price felt affordable. I’ve been here over the years for hi-tea and celebrations, and it’s been worth it each time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with other facilities for an overnight family stay. Staff were friendly too, which stood out after being treated poorly at other five-star hotels.
