My deposit was returned with a staple, and RM 10 was taken for Tourism Tax even though I showed them my Agoda tax payment and invoice. They told me the tax charged through Agoda was a different one. I’ve contacted Agoda, and they’ll sort it out with the hotel. The amount isn’t much, but I’m concerned about the hotel’s integrity.

Really poor service. Check-in was at 2pm, but when we arrived at 3pm our room still wasn’t ready. Nobody apologized, they just said the previous guest had checked out late. Ridiculous.

I liked having a water cooler and being allowed to use the pantry. Parking costs extra, though they sell coupons for it. The room was pretty good, with a comfortable bed, windows, and a fairly spacious bathroom. Overall, quite good.
