The staff were the best part of my one-night stay. They were keen to help with anything, from local suggestions to souvenirs, and the room was clean too. I’d happily come back.

There’s no lift, and the place has three levels with stairways that have no handrails, so it isn’t suitable for older visitors. Mosquitoes were around at night, and the facilities are limited. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to rest and sleep, right in the middle of the uptown night market. Parking costs RM6 for the day and overnight.

The staff were good and welcoming, and the room was neat and tidy, though there’s room for improvement. There’s free street parking, a convenience store right next door, and plenty going on downtown.

Parking at night was a real hassle because of wakaf che yeh, and I was angry that I still had to pay even after explaining I was staying at the hotel. The cabinet was positioned in a way that hurt my children’s legs, and there was no water heater.

The bathroom was really dirty, with dark brown water, and the TV was broken. RM100 felt expensive for this kind of service. I was so disappointed.
