For our overnight transfer, this was just a 5-6m drive from the airport, so the location was ideal. It’s in a local area with popular restaurants, seemingly a mix of Chinese and Malaysian food. The price was good for the room compared with other places we stayed in kk. The room looked just like the pictures, new and clean, with a fan and AC and really comfortable beds. Self check-in was simple too. They sent the instructions by WhatsApp ahead of time, and they were clear. The windows faced the corridor lights, but for one night it worked great.

We arrived two hours before check-in, but nobody was there to help us. When the staff member finally showed up, he didn’t seem sorry or offer an apology. Instead, he said we were late for check-in and might have to pay a late check-in fee. The service was awful from the start. Staff weren’t around or answering the phone, even after we called more than 10 times. The customer service wasn’t polite or helpful.

There were no windows, just a door opening straight onto the shared hallway, and the neighborhood was very average. The room wasn’t very clean, with mold and insects, and the bathroom was worse. Water stayed pooled after every shower. Getting to sleep was nearly impossible before 3 a.m. The nearby shops took turns playing karaoke and very, very loud music. Staff did efficiently find the air conditioning remote when we arrived, but I can’t give this place more than one star. I don’t recommend it at all.

The room was clean and smelled nice. It had a coin fan and air conditioning, and security seemed okay.
