Monocolo Boutique Hotel

The hotel smells great, even around the elevator, and the room is nicely designed with everything working properly. They gave us two polo bao at check-in, and you can ask for a few more. There's also free-flow ice lemon tea. A refundable deposit of $100rm and $10rm for tax were collected. We were on the first floor, where the corridor gets noisy because the floors open toward the lobby and its restaurant. People tend to gather there, especially when the restaurant is booked for a private event, and the noise went on until around 10pm. The lobby restaurant looked like a good place to eat, but we couldn't try it because my wife was sea sick after our island trip. It was closed for a private event that evening. Guests get 15% off there. Aside from the noise, it was a great stay. Without a restaurant event, it would have been perfect. We loved it and highly recommend it. Guests get free ice lemon tea beside the reception desk, and each checked-in guest was also given a Polo Bun the next morning. Big thumbs up for that. The hotel has a contemporary design, and it was quiet, with a clean, spacious room.

The room was clean and well maintained, and the place felt quiet and private. I had a pleasant stay and found it comfortable for resting. I'd consider coming back.

I booked through WhatsApp, which was easy, and the staff member handling the phone booking was friendly and patient with my questions. Check-in was quick too. I forgot the names of the friendly staff working on the afternoon of the 24th and morning of the 25th. We took two rooms, one with a queen bed and one with a single. Both rooms and toilets were clean and new, and had a safe and small fridge. There are about 30 parking spaces beside the hotel. The location was good, and complimentary polo buns were available from 8.30 to 10.30am. I'd been passing by for a while, so decided to try it for a night. Highly recommend.
