The Lov Penang

I’m satisfied with the stay, which is why I gave it 5 stars. The property has gated parking, so I felt secure leaving the car there. Check-in was quick and easy, though a RM 100 cash deposit was required. My ground-floor room was very clean and spacious enough to pray in, and a sejadah was provided for Muslim guests. There was a water heater for hot showers, as well as a desk and chair for work or makeup. A kettle and tea and coffee sachets were included. The ironing table is upstairs, and there’s a Coway near reception. They also sell things like maggi and toiletries at reception. I’d recommend the place and come again next time I’m in Penang.

The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and Kak Sharifah was friendly. It’s a handy spot for an overnight stay near the airport, with good food nearby, including nasi Kandar beratur789. There’s renovation work going on, but it didn’t affect my sleep.

The room was nothing like the photos. It smelled strongly of cigarettes, the toilet rack was rusty, the walls were dirty, and the bed frame and blanket were dusty. The mattress felt cheap, and the main road was noisy. After a short rest, my back got really itchy. I couldn’t sleep that first night, so I left without staying the second. I’d booked two nights on my first trip to Penang because the place was close to the airport. My flight arrived late and I needed to rest before an early business meeting. The good reviews now seem fake. At reception, they insisted we take off our shoes and leave them outside, saying they’d make the room smell. That was the first warning. Even at a low price, the poor condition and service aren’t worth it. Avoid this place.

The staff were friendly, and parking was easy to find. The hotel environment was nice and very comfortable. I’d recommend staying here, and I’m sure it’ll be a good experience.
