Stanton Gaya Hotel

Every time we stay at Stanton Gaya hotel, we leave happy and completely satisfied. The staff are excellent, and the room is clean. Water, coffee, tea, sugar and the rest are plentiful. Those little details say a lot about the care from management. The location is great, but we've tried similar hotels in the same area and none came close to the standard here. No wonder it's almost always fully booked and the reviews speak for themselves. Well done to the whole team, and thanks for everything. We're sure everyone who stays here loves this place.

I really wanted to give this five stars. Our Queen superior room was new, clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the service was friendly. It's right on Gaya Street, with the night market and Sunday market just around the corner. Lots of local restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner, plus some bars. There are two convenience stores down the street, and a shopping mall and large supermarket about 10-15 minutes away on foot. Getting a Grab during our stay was easy. The problem was the toilet. The sewage smell was incredibly strong, and if you left the bathroom door open, it spread into the room. It was horrid.

We were very disappointed by how one receptionist handled a simple luggage issue after we checked out. We left our bags at the lobby for safekeeping, then noticed we hadn't been given claim tickets and went straight back to ask. Instead of helping, he insisted he'd already handed them to us and told us to look for them ourselves. We were searching through our belongings when we politely asked him to check the luggage room too. He didn't respond or help. After we'd finished searching, he reluctantly opened the luggage room and rudely gestured for us to go in and find the bags ourselves. He eventually came in and found them, then realized he'd forgotten to tear off and give us the tickets in the first place. The service was unprofessional, and his attitude was unacceptable. Guests deserve respectful, helpful treatment, especially with something so straightforward.

Comfortable for four people, with a room that's just the right size and nice soft pillows. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Thank you, we'll come back next time hehe.
