Sunset Seaview Vacation Condos at Infinity Avenue

The apartment has lots of space, and the pool is amazing. It’s about a 10-minute drive from town, though not centrally located, and there are some restaurants in the complex. The self check-in instructions were clear, so I don’t agree with reviews saying it’s hard to find. There were a lot of things that needed attention. The lights flickered, and water leaked from one air-con onto our faces and pillows while we slept. We had to sleep at the other end of the bed, so we got poor sleep all three nights. The living room aircon didn’t work at all. The bottom sheet didn’t fit, the TV was broken, and the washer-dryer didn’t dry our clothes, which was frustrating when we had to leave with wet laundry. There was only one bowl, so we couldn’t eat together, and the parking fob didn’t work, meaning we had to pay to get out of the car park. This could be a 10/10 if someone inspected it carefully and fixed all the problems.

We didn’t get into our room until after 4pm, even though check-in was meant to be at 3:00pm, and it hadn’t been cleaned. The pillowcase had suspicious stains that were extremely disgusting. Staff had also lost the key to one of our rooms, so we had to stay temporarily in another room. The toilet smelled, too.

We checked out early and had a terrible, disappointing stay. It’s been two weeks since my wife and daughter got home, and they still aren’t replying to my messages. I’d never recommend this company. There was no street signage to help locate the accommodation, and communication was poor. The bedding was dirty, with hair and stains. They said they couldn’t provide clean sheets until the next day because it was after 17:30, but then still didn’t change them. Luckily my wife’s bedding was okay, but my daughter had to share her bed. A bedroom window facing a building site wouldn’t close, the toilet seat was broken, the bathroom sink tap swivelled around, and the cutlery was rusty. The QR code for paying the key card deposit didn’t work. We only found out just before getting the cards from a lock box at the back of the building, so they took cash instead, which still hasn’t been returned. A kind security guard showed my wife and daughter where the boxes were. The one good thing was a nice gentleman who came at midday on their second day and fixed the window, toilet seat, and sink.

The neighbours partied all night, so it was hard to sleep. The host was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the bathroom kept smelling really bad even with the windows open. The bed sheets and linen clearly hadn’t been washed before I arrived. I didn’t enjoy my stay.
