Warisan Hotel

The bedsheet had brown marks when I checked in, and the bathroom didn't feel hygienic. The shower curtain had visible brown stains and mould, while the dirty door panels had no lock, which was inconvenient and affected privacy. The room didn't seem clean or well maintained. I hope management improves the housekeeping and upkeep, since these basic problems really affected my stay.

Getting around was easy from Warisan Hotel, Sabah, since it was near eateries and attractions. The staff were always friendly and helpful, with a smile and good local tips. My room was comfortable and clean, a good place to rest after a long day exploring. It was an affordable, cosy and satisfying stay with a bit of Sabahan warmth. I'd consider it for a trip here.

The female receptionist was very friendly, and the room was generally clean, though the toilet hygiene needs improvement. Toiletries were provided, but there was no toothbrush or toothpaste. The water heater only gave hot water when I turned the pressure very low. One tip, when you leave your room, try opening the door without the access card to check that it has locked securely.

There was an unpleasant smell as soon as I entered, and the sheets had visible stains. Then I found an opened C0ND0M under the bed. That's unacceptable and makes it seem like the room wasn't properly cleaned before I arrived. Hotel cleanliness is a basic standard, and this was extremely disappointing and honestly disgusting. I wouldn't recommend staying here without serious improvements.
