The room and pool were the only parts that earned this place two stars from me. The rooms are roomy and very comfortable, and the swimming pool is nice, but the service and facilities fell below expectations. This hotel is not wheelchair-friendly. Every room has a step that makes access difficult, and when we asked for a ramp, we were told they were all reserved. No other solution was offered. For a 5-star property, that’s unacceptable. Breakfast was another letdown. The dining area is too small, with long queues, and is very hard to navigate in a wheelchair. The chef makes only three set types of eggs, with no omelets, and the buffet choices are limited, with no cheese selection. Even a regular café would have more breakfast options. I strongly advise against booking breakfast here, and wheelchair users should avoid this property altogether.

The two pools had different atmospheres: the one on the top floor, beside the restaurant/bar, was surprisingly quieter and less crowded than the lower one, and had a wonderful view of the Petronas Towers. Our room was remarkably large for what we paid, though perhaps we were lucky with our dates. We did find a half-drunk bottle left behind on the table, so cleanliness wasn’t perfect. The location is superb, only a few steps from the Petronas Twin Towers. Breakfast was average, so we skipped it on the second day. Service was disappointing for a hotel of this level. My written question went unanswered for weeks, and after we arrived, staff gave us conflicting information. It felt more like a long-term apartment stay than a fully serviced hotel. Would I stay again? Yes, if the price was good, but I’d lower my expectations for service.

I liked how the room felt like a comfortable home, with hotel service as well. It had everything for living, including dishes, a microwave, washing machine, and hair dryer, all good quality. The body and hair products and even the slippers were nice too. The air conditioner kept a steady, comfortable temperature without being noisy or blowing too hard, which I really appreciated. The lobby was beautiful and service was nice. Petronas Twin Towers and Suria mall are just around the corner, so the location is superb.

The stay itself was amazing, but breakfast was a real disappointment. It was crowded with little choice, so we went in and left without eating, then found a nearby restaurant where we could have a more comfortable breakfast. I strongly wouldn’t recommend it. Check-in and parking were easy, and sending my puppy’s documents ahead made the process quick. I paid an additional RM400 for one puppy for one night, which felt expensive. For that price I expected better puppy amenities: an old blanket, litter tray, tiny packet of kibble, and dusty bowls were provided. We had to return these items, unlike at other 5-star hotels. Luckily, I’d brought my own supplies.
