Ceylonz Suites KLCC by One 39 KL

I stayed for seven days, and housekeeping never cleaned the room during that time. We emailed the hotel and were promised a clean and fresh towels on day four, but it didn’t happen. The rubbish was never taken out either. They don’t provide toilet paper or even basic toiletries like soap, shampoo, a toothbrush, or toothpaste, so guests need to bring everything themselves. I’d never experienced these conditions in a hotel before. The staff weren’t friendly and seemed poorly informed. They couldn’t answer most questions, whatever the topic. Breakfast was very limited and wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t book it: the same money could get you a much better meal at nearby cafés. The experience was disappointing. This hotel doesn’t meet basic hospitality standards or the level of service I expected.

The rooftop pool and the view were such a treat. The place is also really well located, and the WiFi was reliable enough for me to get some work done. We stayed two nights, and our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Loved it, and we’ll be back.

The spring mattress wasn't comfortable, but I'd come back for the nice view and strategic location. When I checked out, the male staff member was quick and gave good customer service. At key handover, though, the staff member stayed seated instead of standing up, which came across as lazy.

The room was nice and very clean. It's conveniently located for getting to KLCC and KL tower, with the KL forest nearby too. Recommended.
