Classic Inn

The staff made this stay. When I asked about the published RM80 rate, the receptionist told me I could get a better deal on Agoda. I had no internet, so she booked it for me. They also kept my charger after I left it behind and returned it when I got back to KL. Really great service. We ended up at Classic Inn after missing our bus to Singapore. A quick search turned it up as the most appealing option at the price we were willing to pay for a night. The room was small and cramped, but clean, with a soft bed and spotless shower. It looked much better than the pictures I’d seen at the front desk, and exceeded what we expected. The location is ideal for shopping and eating, right behind Berjaya Times Square and close to Jalan Alor if you’re after streetfood.

They charge an extra 2% for credit card payments, and breakfast wasn't provided on Wednesday even though it was included. The hotel has no lift. The service felt very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend booking a room at Classic In Hotel.

I liked the hotel's decor, and the atmosphere felt relaxed. The room was just okay for size, not especially spacious, but enough for a solo traveler on a budget wanting to be near the golden triangle. For a middle range priced hotel, the rate seems reasonable given the location.

The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean and had everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's quality. Breakfast was really good too.
