The internet was so weak, unstable, and slow that it barely worked, and only near the entrance door. There was no usable Wi-Fi in the bathroom, either bedroom, or the living room, so you’re essentially paying for accommodation without internet. The service was just as bad. I reported the problem to the administration, maintenance came twice without fixing anything, and then I was told I couldn’t change rooms because “all rooms are the same.” That’s an excuse, not a solution. This was a terrible experience. If you need Wi-Fi for work, communication, or even basic browsing, be aware that it’s awful here. I’ll keep adding the hotel’s other shortcomings in future reviews.

Two days before I was due to arrive, the hotel cancelled my reservation without giving a valid reason. It completely disrupted my travel plans and caused unnecessary stress and expenses. Their customer service made things worse: they were rude, rarely answered my messages, and when they did respond, they were dismissive and unhelpful. They showed no concern for the trouble they’d caused. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a hotel, and by far the most unprofessional one I’ve dealt with. Stay away if you value reliability, basic respect, and proper communication.

I had an outstanding stay and would highly recommend this property. Tourist attractions and coffee shops are mostly within a 10-minute walk. The Petronas Towers are about 15 minutes away, and Pavilion Mall and Bukit Bintang (Berjaya Times Square) are around 20 minutes on foot. The 51st-floor sky deck and infinity pool have stunning views of the city skyline, and there’s a convenient store on the 8th floor for quick bites. Our two-bedroom suite had a functional kitchenette, washing machine, and spacious living area. The linen was clean, and housekeeping came daily to tidy up and replace towels. We stayed four full days, and despite the reviews I’d read, my experience was excellent. Maybe I was just lucky. Our host, Jaheed, was a real gentleman: he kept in touch, confirmed our arrival time, and personally waited to welcome us and show us to the suite.

The apartment was roomy and clean, and having a washing machine in the unit was a real plus. There’s also a small supermarket in the building, plus a ground-floor machine for mixed drinks that I unexpectedly enjoyed. The pool on the 51st floor had a lovely view, though it felt more like a photo spot than a place to swim, and the water was a bit cold. The arrival was the hard part. We’d booked two nights on booking.com for 87 euros, then learned there was another 25% in taxes and service charges, bringing it to 120 euros. We were told cards weren’t accepted, and we didn’t have enough cash for the new total, only for the original price. They kindly gave us two hours to leave our bags and find an ATM about a 15-minute walk away. After 30 hours of travel from Germany, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. We also weren’t allowed to use the front entrance. Before someone finally explained where to check in, we had to walk around the building three times with all our luggage because the other open door wasn’t permitted either. I still don’t understand why, and after such a long trip it was a lousy welcome. Hospitality wasn’t there for us.
