Expressionz suites by iHost Global Apart-hotel

We loved the apartment on the 19th floor. The views were amazing, the bed was really comfortable, and the facilities were good. There was a washing machine but no washing powder, which we bought cheaply at a supermarket. The kitchen had plates, cutlery, and cups, but no cooking equipment, so just be aware it isn't fully stocked. The showers could be unpredictable. Some days we got cold water, other times it was hot enough to burn, so be careful. We paid for the infinity pool on the top floor and thought it was worth it for the city views and experience, more than for swimming. One strange rule: if it rains, even if you've only been there a minute, reception will ask you to leave. Once you leave, you can't come back without buying another ticket. That felt really unreasonable. Apart from that, a very nice place to stay.

The pool was nice, but getting registered was a hassle. The deposit is quite high at RM300 per room, and parking costs RM20. We checked in at 4 p.m. and were given a key even though the room hadn't been cleaned. We'd already lain down when housekeeping came in to start cleaning. Please make the registration process easier.

The rooftop pool access was presented as part of our booking, but once we arrived we were told it cost extra. That bait-and-switch was unacceptable. Housekeeping also left the old towels in the room without replacing them with fresh ones. From the moment we arrived, the whole stay was a nightmare. Nobody helped us find our room in a confusing building, the entire property smelled disgusting, and the downstairs staff were unbelievably rude and disrespectful. For a place presented as a five-star hotel, the service was disgraceful. Aida was especially rude, by far the worst. The experience was a disaster. I'd rate it minus 10 if I could. I would never return and strongly recommend avoiding it. Awful, awful, awful.

The rooms are really good, and the people were helpful. Their luggage storage was genuinely useful. The infinity pool rules felt a bit strict when going with family and kids. The place also feels far out of the city, and getting a taxi or food delivery can be very difficult.
