Hotel Signature International at Pudu

Avoid this place. The Wi-Fi was only working properly in the lobby, and on a regular weekday there was a party of some kind in the second-floor corridor between midnight and 2:00 AM. The loud music carried up to the fourth floor. At checkout they also tried to shortchange me on my deposit. Guests pay RM250 on arrival for tourist tax and a damage deposit, with RM100 due back when leaving. They first returned only RM50. I pointed out clearly that I was owed RM100, and the employee looked confused and went behind the counter to make a "phone call." When he came back, he gave me the full RM100.

I attended an office function here. The lobby interior and atmosphere were good, and it was clean. The event space and toilets were pleasant and clean as well. I didn't stay here, so I can't comment on the rooms, though I'm sure they're maintained just as well.

I was unsure about booking after reading all the negative Google reviews and expected bad service, but my stay turned out the opposite. The front desk staff were polite and helpful the whole time. The room was small but worked perfectly for one person and was well maintained. Everything was clean and organized, with the basic facilities available. They also provided complimentary water bottles, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. I stayed 2 nights without any complaints. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay, and it exceeded what I expected. I'd recommend it to solo travelers looking for a clean, convenient place. 👍

The front desk service was poor, and they asked me to pay tourist tax twice even though it had already been paid through the booking app. The hotel also seemed short staffed, especially in the dining area, where food often ran out and was left unattended. I stayed 3 nights at Signature Pudulama and was disappointed by the breakfast. There was very little choice, it focused heavily on Indian food, and there was almost no variety from day to day. I wouldn't expect that from an international hotel. I don't recommend it for Indonesian travelers.
