Kai Hotel

The repeated room changes made this stay awful. I booked a room with a window, but the first one had none, had colored walls, and didn’t look like the photos. The furniture was broken, and the entry card wouldn’t work. After customer support sorted things out with the hotel, reception said they’d move me and handed over new keys. That room was windowless too. The next room had a window, but its toilet didn’t work. They moved me again the following morning, and that room had a broken window. The staff didn’t understand English and didn’t seem ready to help make guests comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location is good and the staff are friendly, but getting into the lobby with big luggage is awkward because you have to carry it up the stairs. There’s a lift to the rooms. The rooms are small, with just one socket, very close to the bed, so I had to shift the bed a bit. The tap water looked yellowish.

There are lots of good places to eat nearby, with plenty of different food options in the area. It’s also convenient for solo travelers, since the train station is close.

I’d happily stay here again. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and it was good value. The location was excellent too, close to attractions and local places to eat.
