Madam fazura was especially helpful and friendly. She explained things clearly and gave great information. The place was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly. I’ll come back with my family.

We booked the Presidential Suite at Kingston Hotel 20, the biggest, highest-level, and most expensive room they offer, and the stay was a disaster. The room was on Level 11 beside a closed swimming pool. Guests kept taking the lift up expecting to swim, then being turned away, and we could hear every bit of it because there was no sound isolation. The poor soundproofing also meant prayer music from a nearby mosque woke us at dawn. The room itself had brown water from the tap, bugs and cockroaches, half-broken blinds, and furnishings falling apart. There were so many wardrobes and shelves that bugs could be hiding behind them. The elevator was tiny, smelly, and had no air conditioning. They advertise free parking, but on arrival said there were no spaces left. Driving around, it became clear there was no real parking lot. The only available spaces were in a makeshift drop-off area occupied by staff. After paying for their best room, I had to park illegally on the roadside and hope I would not be clamped or fined. The listed address is wrong too. The actual hotel is farther down the street, perhaps because they had trouble registering the rebrand at the same address. This is the former Arenaa Star Hotel, a 3-star property that appears to have changed its name to escape a pile of bad reviews and falsely raise its rating to 4 stars. If you expect a 4-star stay, or even basic hospitality and cleanliness, look elsewhere. This felt like an absolute scam.

The only upsides were the relatively strategic location and affordable price. We stayed from January 29th to February 1st, 2026, on the 10th floor. There was complimentary breakfast, but housekeeping never cleaned our room. The bed was never made, the towels were not replaced, and the trash was left behind. We left a note on the 31st asking for cleaning, but nothing changed. Please don’t excuse this by blaming the Thaipusam festival. The room also had numerous cockroaches and small insects. We had read about cockroaches in reviews for Arenaa Hotel, whose name still appears the same to this day and differs only on Google, and found the same problem ourselves. Staff blamed it on too much food in our room, but the insects were already there before we brought in any food. There was a lot of dust too. I’m sensitive to dust and kept sneezing. The 10th floor hallway had a rockstar theme, perhaps: black walls with framed rock band t-shirts, a black floor with only a red carpet down the middle, dim lighting, and air conditioning that didn’t work properly. It felt damp and uncomfortable. When we requested the advertised hairdryer, two men brought it up. That seemed unreasonable to us, as other hotels usually send just one person. Renaming Arenaa Star Hotel to Kingston Hotel 20 on Google means little if the quality doesn’t improve. I have proof of the bugs from day one to our last day, in both the bedroom and bathroom. Even the bin from our final day was never emptied. It was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Please take the time to read the newest and worst Arenaa Star Hotel reviews on Google before booking. It’s the same hotel, and those reviews are more honest than the ones here. Don’t make my mistake.

The room was clean, and the facilities and hospitality were great. Hassan was especially helpful.

Ms. Baisura, Ms. Syaa, and Mr. Aiman gave excellent service. I had a great stay, and the hotel felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
