The bed's stiff, which I liked, though it may not suit everyone. The sheets were clean and the room was minimalist, but there weren't enough power sockets, so we had to charge our phones far from the bed. The toilet was dark, with a small carved-out spot beside the shower. I was curious about opening it, but after enough horror films I figured nothing good would come of that. There's been a small makeover since my visit about seven years ago. The dirty white hallways that looked straight out of a Thai movie are gone. A few spiritually sensitive friends said they felt something was off. It's an OK place to sleep if you're out travelling most of the day and just come back to rest.

The location is the only good thing here. There are much better options for a lower price. I came six years ago and already had a bad impression; I returned a few days ago and nothing had changed. They only clean the places people can see. The toilet was worst: there was a sort of door glued shut that wouldn't open, and it didn't cover the whole opening, so you could see underneath. It was filthy, right beside the shower. I was worried a bug might come out while I was showering.

The rooms look like they haven't been renovated in 15 years. I wiped black dirt off the desks, couches and the bed frame where your head goes. Parking and WiFi cost extra, but apparently the cockroaches are free. The lifts are nearly broken, and the gym and pool are disgusting. One of the worst places to stay in KL. Save your money; sleeping on the street might be better.

If you're after the haunted-hotel feeling you get in movies, this place has it. The corridor looked straight out of a horror film, with white fluorescent lights, and our room came with cockroaches during our stay. Very memorable!
