Mr Joy was kind, and the only good part of this experience. I checked out after just an hour because the room was dirty, cramped, and had no towels or blankets. When I got to the building, reception told me there were several places with the same or similar name as 'Kuala Lumpur Dorms' and suggested I call the number on my booking. I waited in reception for half an hour and left three voicemails. More people arrived and tried calling too; after another half hour or so, we were finally taken upstairs.

Clean dorm with good facilities, and I had a great time meeting people from other countries. It's within walking distance of Twin tower and only about a three-minute walk to Bukit Nanas train station, so getting around by train or LRT is easy and cheap.

The dorms are clean and have satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, water and towels. The building has two units, one on the 15th floor and one on the 32nd. The lobby has two marts and a coffee shop, while level 11 has the laundry, pool, gym and billiards area. You can also use your keycard at the staircases to reach the rooftop. For dorm guests, I totally recommend it, as I don't think you'll find another dorm with all this. It's close to a metro station, and the major downtown landmarks are about a 15-20 minute walk away. On arrival, call the number on your booking so the owner can come get you; reception can't help, since the property is independently owned in the building. This was my first time staying in a dormitory. I booked a bed in a six-bed room through a popular app, but there was no such room when I arrived, so I was put in a ten-bed room.

The apartment is nice, and you get free access to the pool and gym, plus billiards. Wi-Fi works well inside the dorm apartment. There's a kitchen and kitchenette for preparing ready-made food like noodles, and they ask for a refundable key deposit. For check-in, go to the building reception and ask them to call the Dorm 32 KLCC Receptionist. The dorm rooms are really cramped, though, and the mattress was so old that the bed wasn't comfortable.

Clean toilets, hot water, comfortable bunk beds and a fair price. It's a decent, clean hostel on the 15th and 32nd floors, with free pool and gym use. There's an oven for heating food, a toaster for bread and free drinking water. Manager Joy, aka Tanmoy, was wonderful and kindly let me check in early. Keep it up, and go for it.
