Millerz Square, Old Klang Road

Visitors have almost nowhere to park here. If you leave your car outside a marked space, even when it isn't blocking vehicles or people, it can be clamped. SCP parking also asked for cash only to receive a discount. This makes me wonder whether the property's parking provision was approved under the planning requirements. In my view, SCP or its employees are deliberately clamping cars for quick cash. DBKL should review the property.

The security felt good, and I felt safe during our stay. We had three access cards for the room, lift, and car park. One odd setup, though: the main entrance opens into a shared area with two room doors, so we could hear the next room's guests coming and going. There’s a Bila Bila convenience shop on the ground floor along with other food outlets, and I’d stay here again for a KL business trip. We booked a deluxe queen room managed by Maplehome in Block E, Millerz Square Old Klang Road. It’s a studio of about 33m2, with a queen bed and sofa bed, and can fit up to three people. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were clean and quite modern. In the room there was also a TV with Netflix, a large fridge, washing machine, built-in oven, induction stove with hood, iron and board, and hair dryer. Midvalley took around 15 minutes to reach, or 30 in traffic, and downtown KL was about 25 minutes away.

The stay itself was great, but Old Klang Road is tough if you don't have a car. There are no footpaths or pedestrian crossings, so getting across the road or anywhere else is a real hassle.

I was visiting the shops, and nobody from security told me where visitors should park. The basement spaces reserved near the lift were full, so I used an OKU spot and was given a RM200 penalty. They only put up an A4 notice and expected people to read it, and I didn't have money to pay. In my experience, OKU parking usually doesn't lead to a penalty. I argued kaw kaw and eventually wasn't charged, but the visitor parking situation is unfriendly.
