They refused to return the other RM50 in the end, so be careful if you’re asked for a deposit here. We paid RM100 at check-in but got no receipt because staff said they’d run out. At checkout, they gave back only RM50 and claimed that was all they’d received from us. When we challenged this, they told us to call the police, saying CCTV could only be viewed if police requested it. They then said the person in charge of CCTV was on leave and that the footage wasn’t high-definition enough to show what happened clearly. If you pay a deposit, get a receipt. If they say they don’t have one, record the handover and make sure the staff member taking the money is clearly visible.

I was only staying for a short holiday, but when I reported my child’s missing towel at reception, they kept asking whether we’d be coming back to the hotel. They couldn’t sort it out or return the towel. It had gone missing after the room was cleaned, and I don’t know why housekeeping took it without checking whether it belonged to the hotel or telling us. This was a terrible experience. I won’t book here again, first and last time.

My kid had used that towel for years, and it meant a lot to them because it had been blessed at a temple. It looked completely different from the hotel towels, but the cleaner apparently mistook it for one and packed it away. My little towel disappeared too, even though it was wet and drying in the bathroom. I don’t get why the cleaning staff didn’t notice. Towels may be cheap, but those weren’t just ordinary towels to us. If you stay here, put yours back in your bag before leaving, even if they’re still wet. Such a weird experience. Good luck!

The room was cozy and the price was reasonable, though the condition is a little old. Front desk service was very good. Parking is the main hassle: the lot is about a 200m walk away and costs around RM7 for one night. That’s not expensive for a hotel in the middle of town, but the walk could be difficult for older people or someone with a disability.
