After getting out of the lift, I told the security guard what had happened, but we struggled to communicate because he couldn’t understand BM or English, and the issue wasn’t clearly dealt with. This happened in Block C on 8 March at around 10:18am, while I was going from Level 18 to Ground Floor. The lift dropped slightly, stopped, and left me trapped for about 30 seconds. I pressed the emergency bell and got no response. That’s worrying for a building emergency system. Building management, please investigate, inspect the lift, and make sure the emergency response system works so residents can feel safe using the lifts.

The Level 8 pool and gym were handy, and the room facilities were more than enough for our homestay. Remember to bring both the parking card and lift card. I also liked how easy it was to get around the parking area between Tower A and Tower C, with a digital parking guide provided on check-in day. One of the four elevators was under maintenance, but the wait wasn’t long. The confusing part was that there was no beep when flashing the lift card, so I had to press a floor button to check whether it had registered. There’s plenty to eat at Trion Binastra, especially Eight Toast, which I really liked for its value and "No Pork, No Lard" label. Other spots serve Middle-Eastern, Asian, and Western food. 7-Eleven and 99 Speedmart are also within walking distance via a sheltered walkway. Southgate Commercial Centre is nearby too. MRT Putrajaya Line Feeder Bus Service T418 runs every 30 minutes, though its timing can be off, so Grab or Bolt is better if you’re in a hurry to reach Chan Sow Lin LRT/MRT Station. Trion KL felt cozy and pleasant, and I got attached to the place. Still a thumbs up, and I’ll come back. Thanks Trion!

The elevators are impressively fast, and the swimming pool was good if you got there early in the morning, before families turned it into a mess. But this isn’t a hotel, it’s an apartment building full of Airbnb companies. My apartment on the 40th floor was so filthy I cut my stay short. The surrounding area feels run down and suburban, with an abandoned airport and a depressingly ugly industrial area. If that’s your idea of heaven, go for it. Never again!

The locker box code they gave me didn’t work, and I couldn’t get anyone to help. There was no one at reception and nobody answered the phone, even after I had Agoda call multiple times. Please take my word for it, don’t go here. I don’t usually leave reviews, but save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else instead of wasting a whole day like I did. ✌️ (Picture below of an empty reception)

The parking felt unsafe: the lights were switched off before 7am, leaving it pitch black, and there’s no CCTV in some parts of the car park. I complained to the management manager, an Indian lady, but she gave me reasons for the lights being off and said nothing could be done. They don’t seem to care about residents’ safety. Parcels can also get stolen, and they ask you to report it to the police before showing CCTV footage. I doubt they’d do anything about it anyway. The lifts took half a year to repair, causing residents trouble. Sometimes I waited 10 minutes, only to find them full of cleaners or guards. Complaints didn’t lead to action. Access cards sometimes fail too, making it hard to get to your floor. Guards aren’t helpful when residents have check-in trouble, and once a guard closed the door on me as I was leaving the building. It was disrespectful and showed no common sense. Management is the worst. They don’t care about complaints, admit mistakes, or help solve problems. They tell you to file a report but take no action, then give lots of reasons and say “you have to understand” when they don’t understand residents’ problems. Most Airbnb units are rented out or managed by Bangladeshi people, not locals. Who’s going to fix anything if management itself is the problem? If you’re thinking of renting here, don’t. Even if you’re planning a holiday, please change your mind.
