December 2018, traveling from Hong Kong to KL with young kids. The apartment had plenty of space, and the building and location were nice, but it was dirty. Getting the key was a mess. I'd told them we would arrive late and asked about pickup arrangements, but my messages and emails just got passed between staff. They later said they'd arrange it, then at the last minute told me to find a friend or cousin in KL to collect the key. That was ridiculous, especially since there was already an issue with building security. Victoria Home staff even suggested we ignore the guard and say we were visiting family. I had to take a taxi from the airport with my whole family to a staff member's home. He'd hung the key in a red plastic bag outside his gate. Finding the house in a very local neighborhood was a whole mission. Once we got to the serviced apartment, we found broken things and dirty women's underwear in a cupboard, icing on the cake. No one came to help when we asked, and the staff didn't reply on WhatsApp. We were entirely on our own, so we cleaned the apartment ourselves and bought everything they were supposed to provide. We got by, but I won't stay with them again.

Nice view, lots of space, and clean. It's an easy place to find and feels pretty lively. The home is fully equipped, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub in the master bedroom, and it worked well for family or friends getting together. I do hope they'll fix the TV. There was no Wi-Fi, and at least they could have had regular channels like TV2 and TV3. They should include at least one parking space too. We had to pay around RM11 for parking the other day. I'd recommend staying here, and I might come back myself.

M City has a lot of facilities: a heated pool, a gym with a ladies-only room, rock climbing, a game room, and a boxing room, to name a few. The service from Victoria Home felt more like an Airbnb, though. We had to collect our own key and pay by bank transfer, even though we'd booked through Agoda and submitted our credit card details beforehand. It didn't feel like a serviced apartment, and the service wasn't friendly.

I called to arrange check-in and nobody answered. The security guards were asleep, and they didn't understand basic English like “check-in” or “hotel.” In the end, they advised me to cancel because they weren't connected to the property. A really bad experience. Stay at your own risk of getting locked out.

The infinity pool had an amazing view, with KL Tower right in front of us. Victoria Home was very welcoming and will definitely be our first choice next time.
