Victory 2 Boutique Hotel

The location is great and the stay was okay, though the room was small. Afrin at reception was a very well-behaved girl.

Think carefully before booking here. My room was dirty and smelled bad, and I developed red, itchy rashes during the stay. At night I could hear rats scratching in the ceiling or walls. Getting to rooms in Tower B felt like navigating a maze, with lots of access card doors. Only one card was provided, which is a real hassle when you're in a group. The receptionist showed little empathy, just said sorry with a blank look and offered no actual fix.

I booked through the airasia move app, where the listing said Swing & Pillows Bukit Bintang. But Gmap took me to another hotel with the exact same name in the area. I later found out this property is actually called Victory 2. From the other hotel, I had to walk about 12 minutes in the middle of the night because no grab would come to the badly congested area. Check-in required a deposit, and checkout felt awkward. The receptionist asked me to hand over my phone so they could post a hotel review. The score didn't seem genuine, since the receptionist would do it on your behalf.

For ONLY 120 RINGGIT, you can apparently get a hotel with a bathroom that doesn't function. The sink leaked, so I couldn't even wash my hands. The toilet had no legroom, making it hard to sit, let alone wipe, and there was no butt spray. When I went to the front desk, they were just like the South Park Cable Guys: “Oh I’m so sorry.. but we don’t have any more rooms 😞” They weren't willing to offer even a full or partial refund. For what I paid, I expected the amenities to work. At least refund me out of respect. Customer service here seems untrained, or at least lacking basic sense. It looks like anyone can work here as long as they can hand over a key. If you don't need to pee, poop, or use the sink, then this is the place for you!!
