ZEN Rooms My Hotel @ Sentral

The bed was very comfortable, not hard at all, and the hot and cold water pressure was good. Wi-Fi worked well, the air conditioning kept the room cool, and the window had a really nice view. Despite the busy streets outside, the room was soundproof and quiet. I arrived at KL Sentral around 1:30 AM and walked to the hotel with another woman staying nearby. We were a little nervous at first, but the area was lively, with 24-hour restaurants and plenty of people still eating and drinking, so it felt safe enough. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is close to NU Sentral Mall, restaurants, and KL Sentral station. Basic supplies included towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, tissue, iron, mineral water, and a hair dryer. I'd definitely recommend staying here again.

I stayed five days and would come back to this hotel if I visit KL again. The room I booked was the three-bedroom type, clean and spacious enough for a family, and the sheets had no stains or dents. Staff were caring and quick to respond. When I asked for mineral water each day, they'd knock and ask if I also wanted the room cleaned. They replaced my faulty water heater quickly, and lent me an umbrella twice when it was raining. The lobby was cool and smelled nice. There was plenty of bathroom space, and its water heater stayed stable. Each room has a hair dryer, and there's an iron on every floor. My room also had a mini fridge, though I'm not sure if the other rooms do. The air conditioning was very cold. Wi-Fi was fast and gave me no trouble.

The budget-friendly location near KL Sentral metro station is probably the hotel's biggest plus. A 24/7 bistro and plenty of other eateries are on the ground floor and behind the hotel, though there isn't an in-house restaurant. The washroom was clean, and hot water was available around the clock. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, and staff were courteous. Room service was a little below standard, but manageable. I was disappointed by the room cleanliness, though, because I found small cockroaches on the floor. Apart from that, things were good.

On 2nd April, the hotel was still being renovated and it was noisy. The room was small, and the price reflected its condition. Air conditioning and hot water were good, but they only issued one keycard. Check before booking. You get what you paid for.
