Silalima Guest House has a really comfortable feel, and I personally like its style. It’s a small house by the road, but traffic didn’t disturb us at all. Once inside the room, I could relax and get a good rest. The owner was thoughtful too: I booked through Agoda, and the air conditioning and TV were already on when we checked in, so we could settle straight in. The price is a little high for me, but absolutely worth it. There’s free parking, and several small cafes I recommend are just across the street. It’s convenient for a short trip or for working remotely.

The place is clean, neat and calming, a great pick for a city escape. We had an extra guest on the trip, and they kindly arranged an extra bed in the room we’d reserved. Really liked it.

I stayed at Silalima Guest House on a solo trip and had a pleasant time. The place is clean and well kept, with a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere that’s good for resting. The room looks lovely, with a simple, calm style, and everything was arranged for an easy stay. The receptionist and crew were friendly, attentive and helpful. It’s a good choice for solo travelers who like quiet, simplicity and warm hospitality. I’d recommend it and would consider staying again.

The place feels open but stays quiet, minimal and exclusive. My standard double was Room 06 on the ground floor by the back gate, which made it easy to get to from the back parking. The room wasn’t huge, but there was enough space for two. Outside, a little front area had a table, light and fan, and it was green and breezy. Inside were the basics, including an ironing board and hair dryer. They leave a note encouraging guests to spend more time outdoors, but the afternoon sun was blazing, so I stayed in. The room was cosy, though the lighting felt a bit dim, and opening the curtain made it feel too exposed. The air conditioning worked well and the water pressure was fine, but my portable shower head wasn’t great. The TV only had basic Astro channels, 101-104, not even channel 100. Too bad, because a Bujang Lapok movie was on. There was no Netflix login, and I couldn’t access it with my own account either, so I watched Netflix on my laptop. The whole place has a calm vibe. Check-in and checkout were smooth, the instructions were clear, and they refunded my deposit within the promised 5 hours. I appreciated that they contacted me to confirm my bank details. The service felt warm and attentive. I’d recommend it for solo or couple stays.

We were frustrated by the parking before check-in, but Gary explained things when we arrived. There’s plenty of parking at the back entrance of the property. The design is beautiful, and we’ll definitely return. We booked two rooms, both clean, and cold water was free and well stocked in the common fridge outside our rooms.
