Cocoon Resort Kuching

The private pool beside each cocoon was a real highlight, and the whole stay felt a bit like glamping. We loved hearing the rain and crickets. Gunung Santubong looked magnificent and almost mystical from our room, and the sunset over the mangroves was lovely too. It made for a romantic place to relax and reconnect with ourselves and the people we love. The atmosphere and service were both wonderful, from the in-room calls to the counter. We'd love to stay longer next time.

Cocoon Resort felt like a quiet place to unwind, with gorgeous views of the beach and mountains. The private pool villas were perfect for a relaxing break, and the atmosphere was peaceful and restorative. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, always greeting us with real smiles. Kathy deserves a special mention for going out of her way to help whenever we needed something and making the stay comfortable and memorable. One of my best stays, and highly recommended if you want to recharge and enjoy the scenery.

We spent a few lovely nights at Cocoon Resort with our family of six, and the cosy cocoon-shaped rooms had a Bali-like feel with thoughtful Sarawakian touches. You can see that in the food, snacks, kombucha and tuak. The crew were all attentive and very friendly, and Joshua helped make our stay extra memorable. I'd highly recommend a sea-view room and the full-board option. It made the whole visit easy and enjoyable. We hope to return.

There isn't much to do here, which is exactly what we wanted: just time to rest. The restaurant looks out over the beach, and each room has a little pool at the doorstep. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included for two adults and two kids under 12, and I especially liked the buffet breakfast. We came across this charming place, @cocoon in #Kuching, and everything is designed around the cocoon theme. My son's first reaction was, “Wah, so aesthetic!” It's a lovely escape when you're after some peace and quiet.
