We booked a Two-Bedrooms Family Apartment at Jazz Suites 2 for 6-7 July 2024, and it was a terrible stay. The apartment wasn’t clean: both the kitchen sink and bathrooms were dirty. The furniture was also different from what Agoda had advertised. What was there was very old, and the bedsheets and pillowcases were in poor condition. Reviewed July 08, 2024

For Room A12-08, we were promised check-in at 3pm, but at 3.05pm this was what we got. The service was terrible, and the toilet smelled extremely bad. We’d also paid a RM200 security deposit. We were all exhausted and just needed somewhere to stay and rest. Calls went unanswered and WhatsApp messages weren’t read. It turned out the person in charge was an agent. TERUK, really disappointing. After all that chaos, housekeeping did a very good job and recommended another place, Jazz suite 4, which was clean and tidy. Kudos to the housekeeping team, but not the agent.

I booked the apartment for my colleagues, and all paying guests should be treated with respect. The parking area was poorly managed, and I urgently needed help getting into the J3 Suite because I had a flight to catch. A security guard reprimanded me in an unprofessional way. I hope management looks into it and takes steps to improve the service.

Our apartment was on Level 10 of Jazz Suite 2, above the shopping mall, with Seven Eleven and security. It worked well for a family, and the location was handy for the airport, The Spring, and downtown Kuching. Food, a money changer, and ATMs were all close by, so it was convenient for what we needed.
