Avillion Port Dickson

The kambing golek was the highlight for me and my mother. It’s our favourite, and the meat was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The other traditional dishes were fresh, full of flavour, and there was an impressive variety. We went to the Ramadan buffet at Avillion Port Dickson on the 21st with my younger sibling, and it became one of our most memorable meals in Port Dickson. The lively, warm setting had an authentic kampung Ramadan feel, and was lovely for families to gather and break fast. Service was attentive, the surroundings comfortable, and the evening exceeded what we expected. One of the best Ramadan buffets we’ve had in Port Dickson so far. We’ll recommend it to friends and family.

They even reheated our leftover pizza from the night before in the kitchen and gave us a new pizza box when we asked. It was a small thing, but showed real care for guest comfort. The team had also kindly upgraded our room. We had a wonderful stay at Avillion Port Dickson, and the warm hospitality made it memorable. Thanks to the staff!

We found bugs inside the towels when we opened them after showering. That was shocking and unacceptable. Before that, we’d waited 30 minutes for hot water, though staff said it would take only 10, and ended up showering cold. There wasn’t any shower gel in the bathroom either. It arrived only after we’d finished showering, despite our call. Check-in had been smooth and the facilities seemed decent at first, but the problems kept piling up. Later, when we wanted to order food, we couldn’t call room service or the front desk because there was no phone in the room. The poor maintenance, missing basics, and slow response made this a very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

It’s a nice place to rest, and the room was good, though a bit old. We did find a cockroach. The breakfast area staff could use proper hospitality training and smile more. The Indian manager was the only one in the restaurant I can commend. Front office staff were friendly, as were the security and bell boy. It’s a romantic place overall, and I may come back someday. I hope things improve.
