We left because we were worried the mold would make us sick. The room was in such bad condition when we arrived that we asked politely for another one twice, but every room they showed us was just as bad. There were lots of insects, mold, and a terrible smell inside, nothing like the pictures. We don’t usually ask for refunds, but this was not what we booked. They told us to discuss it with booking.com, where we had made the booking, but booking.com wouldn’t give us any refund. Because it was chinese newyear, finding another appartement took ages. Don’t book this accommodation if you want a pleasant stay on the island.

The host and staff were kind, responsive, and helpful throughout, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. I found the place clean and comfortable, just as described, and the location made getting around easy. I felt at home and had a wonderful stay. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after a pleasant, relaxing stay.

The location is super convenient, with shops and restaurants close by and just a short walk to the beach. Even on a lively street, it’s surprisingly quiet and relaxing. As a solo female traveler, I feel totally safe and comfortable here. I always stay at Chenang Inn when I visit Langkawi, and highly recommend it for a trip there.

I stayed 3D3N for LIHM'25, and it was good overall. The setting is surrounded by lush greenery, and the location balances being near the beach with avoiding some noise. Customer service from Iskandar, Adila & Fatiha was very good. I just hope the water pressure can be improved.

The place itself is quite old, which I could have overlooked, but the ceiling had a hole directly above the bed. Water dripped from it regularly all night, straight onto the bed, so we couldn’t sleep properly. It made the stay very uncomfortable.
