Landcons Hotel

Really good stay 👍 The pool had some dried leaves in it, so it could use a bit more cleaning. Otherwise, very good.

The rooftop chalet was a very nice experience, and for the budget the hotel is good. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, though, and aren't soundproof. Service was good overall, and there's an iron service plus a hot and cold water dispenser in the common area. Kids can also enjoy the small waterpark-style area.

The price was good, the air conditioner worked well, and the location near the beach and main street was the reason for the two stars. The photos are misleading, though. The place is run down, the bed linen was dirty and stained, there was mold in several spots, and the walls are paper thin. We booked a roadside room to avoid the screaming kids at the pool, but got one right above the kids' pool instead, with shouting before 8am every morning. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms. It might be fine for a few nights, but I won't return. If you stay here, check out Brian's Bar around the corner.

The sink leaked and took them a day to repair, and the sheets were dirty. After I complained, they still insisted nothing was wrong with the room.
