Oyo 795 Nahdhoh Langkawi Resort

You kind of get what you pay for, I guess, but with a little more effort this place could be unreal. The pool was a bit dirty and had no sun loungers, the bedding was stained, and the restaurant never opened. There’s definitely potential here.

My 60's-day stay didn’t leave me with a clear overall impression, particularly at the end when the on-site Manager arrived. The main market seemed very oriented toward Muslims, and the Owner manages a Koranic School on the mainland. There’s a loud Surau and a Mosque nearby. I had repeated issues with pool water maintenance and water pressure. The mattress was worn and sagging, and the bed and bathroom linens were old and stained, with some torn as well. I’m grateful to Ms. Shilla, Mr. Sojji, and the Gardener for working hard and helping as much as they could.

The staff were a real highlight, especially Mr. Fikri Syazwan, who was very helpful and arranged motorbike and car rentals for us. That made getting around the island much easier. The room rate was affordable and felt worth it for the comfort and service. Nahdhoh Langkawi Resort was well maintained, with a clean pool and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s not right on the beach, but close enough to walk or drive there. The spot is cozy and away from the crowds, which makes it a good place for a quiet, relaxing stay in Langkawi.

A quiet hotel in a quiet area. The room was clean and fine for someone who doesn’t need much. You’ll probably find ants in the room, though I think that’s likely the case everywhere. The pool was all ours, and the staff were helpful. They rent motorbikes too.
