We only stayed one night because we wanted to be close to the airport, so the location worked for us, though it depends on what you’re after. The area was quiet when we walked around, and the on-site cafe had a good choice of snacks and breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our upstairs room was a good size, with lovely furniture outside where we could sit in the tropical setting. I also loved listening to the Asian Koel and other tropical birds.

I spent hours on our balcony watching squirrels, birds, and monkeys, and I’d recommend asking for a top-floor room. The place felt so quiet that it seemed like no one else was staying. The staff were wonderful, the rooms had a lovely rustic look, and the cafe next door was perfect. Grabs were easy to get, with only a few minutes’ wait. The pool was being repaired, so we couldn’t swim, but that didn’t affect our holiday. Panji Panji is one of our favourite hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

It feels like a jungle house, with clean rooms, kind and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. The pool is small but pleasant and quiet. They don’t have bicycles or scooters, which would’ve been handy for exploring the island. For the quality, the price is very good. A strong 5 from us!

Panji2 was one of the best choices I made for my Langkawi trip. Ekin was lovely, from her warm help on WhatsApp to meeting her in person. As guests, we could have breakfast at their popular town cafe, Smiling Buffalo, and the food was amazing. Panji2 has a calm, peaceful setting away from the busy Cenang main road, while still being close enough to everything. By the way, I can’t upload photos to share and don’t know why.

We were so happy we chose Panji Panji for our honeymoon. The staff welcomed us warmly, and their kindness made us feel special throughout our four days and three nights. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully arranged, with sweet honeymoon decorations made by the staff. After exploring Langkawi, it was a lovely place to relax. Having Smiling Buffalo right in front of our room was a treat, and the breakfast menu was amazing. Everything we ate was delicious.
