The Ocean Residence Langkawi

The nights were a highlight for our group: long chats by the pool and an easy, relaxed feeling that made it simple to enjoy being together. The setting is calm and open, with sea frontage, palms, plenty of space, and a pool that feels part of the landscape. It looks good from the morning light through to the evening. The low-rise layout gives you privacy and room to breathe, so it feels more like a private coastal residence than a standard hotel. It worked well for us, with space to be social when we wanted and quiet when we didn't. Nothing felt rushed or crowded. Communication with the team was clear, responsive, and flexible, which added to the stay. Ocean Residence Langkawi quietly exceeded our expectations, and we had a very good time there.

I had a nice room with pool access, a comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, and a great shower. It was quiet, which I liked, though the place looked a bit deserted and sits in the middle of the island. There isn't a restaurant or bar on site. I didn't check out the beach in front.

The staff are really lovely, and they have amazing cats! The pools are very nice, the views are great, and the place has a special charm. 10/10, I'd recommend it and would come back.

I stayed 10 nights at The Ocean Residence and found the peace, quiet, and space I was after. The cats, sunsets, and dependable housekeeping made it feel like a little sanctuary. I'm grateful for the calm, too: as an author, I found it inspiring enough to finish an entire book there. ✨ The property is older and needs upkeep. Some furniture is worn, pool tiles are broken, and the restaurant area has been abandoned. There's no proper dining option, just a microwave and water dispenser. In my final days, demolition noise disrupted the quiet. With more care and attention to detail, this place could shine again.
