The hotel's Nyonya style is what makes it well known. The decor is beautiful and everything looked very clean. If you'd like to try a hotel with that Nyonya character, this one is worth a look.

There's plenty of room inside, and the decor has a nice rustic feel, though you'd hardly guess that from the plain exterior. They supplied toiletries and a coffee machine with milk. The shower and toilet were clean and new. The mattresses are really hard, and traffic just outside the entrance can be noisy. Also, the toothbrush handles bend. Lol.
We had lots of space in this two-storey homestay, so it worked well for a family trip. It was clean and very comfortable, and Jonker Street is close enough to walk to. I really liked the location.
Our room turned out to be a roomy apartment spread over two floors, with two rooms and a cozy feel. There was a small outdoor area for the bathroom, and stairs went up to the second room. A covering let daylight through. The street was quiet, but we were still close to everything in the old town. The staff were lovely when we arrived early and had no problem with it.
We could explore the nearby sights on foot from here, so we barely used any transport during the trip. The location was just right.
