I've been staying at this Cottage whenever I'm in Malacca for the past 6-7 years. We can leave the car parked safely, then walk to Jonker Walk and around town. It's good exercise, and when we're worn out, we can get a ride back with Grab. A nice way to enjoy a stay in a historical cottage.

Cindy, the owner, is accommodating and helpful. Bring mosquito repellent, though, since mozzies do show up sometimes. There's a lot of history here, and the garden and cottage feel like a real labor of love and artistry. Even the furniture and small details are authentic. Good place to stay.

The hosts are friendly and clearly enjoy what they do, and the rooms and shared areas have been thoughtfully set up. It gave me a wonderful nostalgic feeling and a real "Melaka" experience. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for that.

We were lucky to stay here. The owners have a museum in their own section, and they take pride in it and enjoy sharing it with guests. The place is full of history.
