The owner and staff made me feel like family. I was going through a particularly vulnerable time, and they met me with real warmth, care, and compassion. Their hospitality felt personal and sincere, and it was deeply comforting. I felt safe and looked after here, which meant a lot to me. I stayed in the Grand Boulevard Suite, a spacious, refined room with a lovely sense of heritage. The residence has just ten rooms and feels more like a lovingly kept ancestral home than a hotel. Antiques and historical artefacts are carefully preserved throughout, giving the place the feel of a living gallery and reflecting Melaka's Peranakan heritage and cultural legacy. It's also in a great location, and the blend of heritage charm and heartfelt care made my stay truly special. I'm deeply grateful for the experience, and 5 Heeren will always hold a special place in my heart.

The antique furniture gave the property so much charm, and everything was impeccably clean and relaxing. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Jonker Street is just a one-minute walk away on the next street, and the recommendation booklet they prepared was really useful. Breakfast had a lovely range of local food. I especially enjoyed the Nyonya kuih, and the Nasi Lemak, chicken rice balls, Nyonya laksa, and prawn noodles were all excellent.

I loved staying in this beautiful antique museum hotel. The friendly lady at the counter helped arrange our restaurant bookings and told us about lots of lovely attractions to visit. Her warm hospitality made the trip memorable. Breakfast was delightful too, and the service was exceptional.

Breakfast at 5 Heeren was lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even taking photos for us and suggesting great places to eat. Their strict no-outsiders policy also made the place feel safe and comfortable.

Our River View Suite was beautiful, with charming antiques, and the hotel was impeccably clean. The staff were so helpful, taking photos, sorting afternoon coffee, and making restaurant reservations. Breakfast was wonderful too. A truly delightful stay, highly recommended.
