Collection O Hotel Super Cowboy

The rooms were huge, the largest we stayed in Malaysia, but the reception was disorganized and check-in took over an hour. In the middle of our stay, they gave our room to someone else. That person got a key and entered while our belongings were inside and we were out sightseeing. There were lots of local kids using the pool for a few REM, so it was unusable. The rooms had no Wi-Fi access and were infested with mosquitoes, which seemed to be breeding in the pipes. We were bitten several times and are itchy everywhere now. There had been a denge fewer outbreak in Malaka, so I suggest avoiding this hotel if you don't want to catch it. I wonder if we can report it to a health organization in Malaysia. The hotel needs inspection. We also saw a cockroach in the room. It's cheap, but the photos are misleading. I wouldn't book it or recommend it. I think OYO group hotels should be avoided, especially this one.

Check-in took hours, and the staff couldn't coordinate basic tasks for just three groups of guests. The room was spacious, but dusty and infested with pests. Cockroaches were roaming around, and we found mosquitoes breeding in the sink drains. There were no towels or toiletries when we arrived. When I asked for towels the next morning, I was told to come get them myself after 6 PM. The advertised free Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, only in the corridor. Staff first told me to buy mobile data. When they eventually checked other rooms, none had a working connection either. Housekeeping also kept asking every day when we were checking out. I raised the problems with the self-proclaimed general manager/owner, who raised his voice as though their system errors were my fault and suggested I leave. He changed his tune when I asked for a refund. When I mentioned the mosquitoes, all he said was, "What can I do about it?" He ignored the other issues too. The hotel showed no regard for guest welfare or cleanliness. I don't recommend staying here.

My family's vacation was completely ruined. After checking in, I had to cancel right away because the door access was broken with wires exposed, and neither the air conditioning nor the heater worked. There was also loud noise from the toilet pipe. Reception said there weren't any other rooms available. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Avoid it.

The room was really spacious, and a family of three didn't feel cramped. It also had a mini kitchen, though I forgot to take a picture. That was the one thing that went right. There were lots of insects in the bathroom and on the sink when we arrived. Even while bathing, insects were flying around me. During our four-day trip, neither I nor my family could connect to the Wi-Fi. I asked at the front desk, and the guy told us to wait a second. We waited all four days and it never worked. If they can't provide it, they should remove that feature. The toilet bowl kept flushing nonstop. We reported it immediately, and the front desk first said a repair person would come later, then said the repairer was in the hospital and unwell. Nothing was fixed during our whole four-day stay. Light sleepers should avoid this hotel too. Motorcyclists race on the road in front at night, so I can assure you that you won't sleep well.
