The room was too small for a family, the toilet facilities weren’t well maintained, and parking was inconvenient. Taking the cost and location into account, I’d say it suits backpackers better.

Local motifs show up in the lively art and decor throughout the place, and the renovated old shophouses had rooms that were clean enough. It’s a good backpacking option if you want a little more privacy, with a convenient spot near major shopping malls. Parking is a little behind the shoplots and in front of the terrance houses. Try not to park on the road shoulders. The smoking room is near the front desk, and the lower ground floor smells of cigarette smoke. The receptionist was unfriendly and somewhat rude, too. The door knobs don’t fit well, so guests end up slamming the doors, which is loud.

This sharehouse is right in central malacca city, with loads of tourist attractions only a few metres away. Sharing the bathroom with other guests was the uncomfortable part, though I guess that’s why the price is affordable. Nice!!!

The room was tiny and not very clean, with no bathroom inside. It’s right by the road, but hard to find. Even people at nearby shops didn’t know where the guest house was.
