The location is the main thing going for this hotel, with shops and attractions close enough to reach on foot. But the room and washroom were dirty, and there were mosquitoes in one corner of the standard room. Basic items like soap and a brush were missing, too. Breakfast had very few choices, and the place lacked amenities for families and children. The poor hygiene and limited food options make it hard to recommend to families or anyone expecting basic comfort.

The location was good, and apart from the problems I had, things were okay. But there were lots of cockroaches in my room, and the toilet stayed blocked, so I had to use the shared one at reception every time. The water pressure was so low that a shower took 25 minutes. Breakfast wasn't safe to eat: flies were on the vegetables, and the rice and noodles seemed to be two days old. I hadn't planned to leave a review, but seeing employees doom scrolling made me angry. It felt like laziness was part of the problem.

The hotel itself was clean, but I had to switch rooms because the old AC was giving trouble. The TV couldn't get proper channels, not even the local ones, so what's the point of having it? The morning buffet was simple. They could do better overall.

The tap water pressure was uncontrolled, and the room wasn't very clean. Rust on the bathroom taps, too. The soap and shampoo were mixed together like a paste, and there was an RM 6 admin charge with no explanation of what it was for.

Everything in the room was okay, but it felt weird for a hotel not to provide toothbrushes. I didn't think I was staying in a hostel. I wanted to go to the market, but it was already closed by the time I checked in.
