We had a fantastic time at The Concept Hotel Melaka. Check-in was easy, and parking was available. Its convenient location made exploring Melaka simple, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, while the facilities were well kept and top-notch. A great option for couples or anyone after a relaxing stay.

The receptionist was friendly and professional, and checking out was just as easy as checking in. I rode to Malacca from Cheras with a friend and stayed here for two days and one night. The room was clean, well maintained, and fully equipped, and the Wi-Fi was decent. We paid a RM50 deposit plus RM3 tax. Parking was easy on my motorbike, with a covered spot behind the building under CCTV. It’s close to lots of places, including Klebang, Ee Ji Ban, Bandar Hilir, Riverside, and Jonker Walk. The price felt reasonable for the room and service. Highly recommend.

I booked the Queen Room with view through a third-party site and got a big discount from the walk-in price, so it was good value. The room and overall atmosphere were clean and pleasant, there’s free parking, and Chinese eateries are within walking distance. There’s a Coway water dispenser in the lobby and on the room floor, plus a Nestle coffee machine in the lobby with free drinks all day, a real bonus. A few details to know: the shower pressure is very low, and the air-con compressor outside my room may be a bit noisy. At check-in they collect RM3 melaka heritage fee, which can be paid by QR, and a refundable RM50 deposit in cash.

Getting around was easy from this city-centre spot, close to AEON Bandaraya Melaka Shopping Centre, Melaka Sentral, and other attractions. The affordable boutique-style price was a plus, and the hotel has bicycle and scooter rentals for exploring. Parking is behind the hotel, with the entrance near a car wash. If you booked through Agoda, customer service sends the parking instructions before arrival. The large statues around the property give the place a distinctive look, though I found them uncomfortable and a bit scary at night. Kids might enjoy them. The room looked clean at first, with fresh-looking sheets, comforter, and towels, but there were Kamitatep, plaster bag worms, all over the ceiling, toilet roll, and door. One even fell onto the bed. The air conditioning also blew out dust when switched on. My husband and child sneezed for hours. We checked in around midnight and were too tired to ask for another room, so we cleaned the area ourselves to sleep. We reported it the next morning and staff acknowledged the issue, but it wasn’t fixed. When we came back that night, they’d changed only the sheets and towels, and the bugs were still there. The stay left us itchy and uncomfortable. The location, concept, and price were good, but the cleanliness, especially the bugs, is a major concern.
