The only small issue was a bit of an odor in the enclosed bathroom, but opening it up for ventilation and using the air freshener provided sorted that out easily. The room itself was spacious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the property’s location made for a relaxing stay in a quiet, peaceful setting. Great stay! 👍🏻

I used to love the relaxing ground floor and lobby, where you could have tea or coffee and lounge. When I came back, it had become a restaurant, and the small rooms now have only the bare minimum. There’s no staff on site and just basic amenities. I can’t recommend it anymore.

I wouldn’t recommend this for a family stay. We booked through agoda, but the room didn’t match the picture: it showed a balcony and river view, while ours had windows facing the street. There was no front office to greet or help us, and it felt like a hostel. We had to find the contact number ourselves or ask a restaurant employee on the ground floor just to get much guidance.

The only reason to stay here is the stunning view. At the high price, the poor facilities made the place appalling. The room looked clean at first, but closer up it was disgusting: thick old dirt and dust caked on the shelf beside the beds, inside the bedside cabinets, and in the storage under the clothes rack. The shower room mirror was only cleaned up to 6’ high. The pillows and mattress had no protectors, and there was no plug in the sink. I had to guess which shower dispenser was for hair and which was for body wash. Towels and bedding weren’t changed during my 10 days there. There were two double beds that could sleep four, but only 5 hangers. The TV couldn’t get channels or Netflix, even with my own login. In the lower front room, you’re at the mercy of whoever’s above you: one night I heard someone pacing heavily up and down for over an hour.
