Mr.Aaron was such a kind, friendly gentleman and treated customers really well. I stayed two nights, and found the place clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. It’s very close to Jonker street stage, and the price was just Rm86 for two nights for 2person. Worth the money, I’d come back.
The location is excellent, right at Jonker Walk, where Melaka’s famous night market opens every weekend. The hostel is convenient, neat, brand new, and super clean, having opened only around three weeks ago. Mr Aaron was friendly and helpful, and very understanding about customers’ privacy. Best host and service, highly recommended.
If you’re here for the weekend Jonker walk, the location is hard to beat. Historic places are close too. The place was only four weeks old when we stayed there last week in Malacca, so it felt very new and clean. Aaron, the owner, was really nice and helpful. I’d personally prefer a room with a window or two. Still, for the price and value, you can’t really complain :) I’ll be back someday!
The owner and staff are lovely, and happy to help with questions about the local area. Sydney backpackers is right at the entrance to Jonker Walking Street, and the hostel is very clean. For what you pay, the quality and hospitality are hard to beat around here.
A comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. The beds were tidy and clean, the staff friendly, and the location is superb, right in the middle of Jonker Street. I stayed over the weekend and would recommend it to travellers and backpackers.
