Our room TV was faulty from the day we checked in. The screen was dark with minor glitches, then by the second day it was unwatchable. We reported it, and the manager came to look. Since we had four more days, we asked to move rooms. He said he'd get back to us, but nobody followed up, sent a technician, or changed our room. We stayed through checkout despite the hassle. Then at checkout, the hotel kept our $50 cash deposit and demanded RM 800 for the TV, saying we'd damaged it. That's completely false. It was already faulty when we arrived, and we reported it early in the stay. If there was a problem, it should have been dealt with then, not used to charge us at checkout. Our $50 deposit is still being held. This felt unfair, unprofessional, and suspicious. We were patient even when they ignored our request for help, but being made to pay for something we didn't break is unacceptable. Management and communication were poor, and the whole experience was stressful. The room was also unclean and had a strong sewage smell. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Through Airbnb, my family and I stayed here for three days and two nights, and it was the worst stay I've had. On our last day, elevators were so full that after waiting 30 minutes while trying to pack, we gave up and walked down from the 36th floor. There are only four lifts, and no indicators to show which floors they're stopping at, so you wait without knowing. It was a miserable end to the stay. The room's smart TV and console, both listed as included amenities, weren't working when we arrived. I messaged the owner and was told a technician would come the next day. The water dispenser had no cool water, and the fridge wasn't freezing, which ended up ruining all our belongings inside. Around 11 a.m. the next day, the owner told us to go down to the ground floor and pick up the technician ourselves. That was unprofessional and wasted our time over something that wasn't our fault. Getting into the elevator alone took 20 minutes. The technician inspected the fridge and dispenser, then said he couldn't do anything about either. I don't understand the point of the inspection if nothing could be done, especially when it wasted our time as though we'd caused the problem. It's an expensive place with very poor management. There are better places to stay, so I'd avoid spending money here.

We only booked this hotel because it was the one accommodation left after my last-minute booking. I wouldn't choose it again. I have plenty to complain about, but I'll keep this readable. I wouldn't put much faith in the good reviews; maybe those reviewers have low standards. There was a five-star hotel next door, but it was sold out on my dates. We arrived at 7pm, four hours after the 3pm check-in time, and our room still wasn't ready. At 7:44pm, I finally got a message saying it was ready. While I waited outside with no air conditioning, I was getting angsty. They offered late checkout at 2pm, but that wasn't useful when I had to hurry back to Singapore, possibly to catch a flight. I asked them to hurry and give me the room card so I wouldn't have to go through the long check-in process again later. Housekeeping not having the room ready was their issue. The toilet looked awful compared with the room and living area, and the shower flow was pathetic. It took ages to wash off with such weak water pressure. They don't do housekeeping on day two: beds weren't made, tables weren't cleared, and they only changed towels if the towels weren't hung properly. The replacements were torn and tattered. They didn't provide extra toilet rolls or water, though thankfully they did empty the bins. They also required an RM 150 deposit, which I didn't understand given the terrible room condition. I'll never return and urge others not to book it. Booking here is at your own risk. I hardly ever bother writing reviews, but I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.

Our deluxe room on the 10th floor was fairly clean, with the car parked on residence level 3A. The layout was very odd: from the entrance you pass the closet and pantry, then the toilet, then the bedroom, and have to pass through the bathroom to get to the bathroom. The whole space smelled dusty, as if it hadn't been occupied for a while. Opening the windows helped air it out. The bedroom had a king bed and another bed in front of it, where the TV was. You can open Netflix and YouTube on the TV; we didn't try Netflix, but YouTube connected easily. Our windows faced the Marriott hotel's pool and kept most of the sound out. There was a wedding there the next morning, though, with rehearsals starting around 8am that woke us a little. It wasn't something anyone could control, but light sleepers might want to ask for a higher-floor room. The bathroom had towels, body soap, and shampoo, but no toothbrushes or toothpaste. The rain-shower pole wasn't screwed in fully and felt wobbly, though it held during our stay. The pantry had basic cutlery, a water filter, and a basin. The cups and plates looked clean, and there was an open closet with hangers beside it. The filter water looked a bit dirty, with things floating in it, so we didn't dare drink it. Check-in was beside the Marriott hotel's pickup and drop-off point. The RM150 deposit could be paid by card or cash; they also took SGD and returned it at checkout. Staff registered our car plate, making it easy to enter the car park. The entrance is to the left after the drop-off point, and you go up a slope to reach the residences parking. It felt fairly safe and wasn't very full. Signs to the lift lobby were plentiful, and the car park was generally quite wide.
