The room was much bigger than we expected, and the bed and sheets were comfortable. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. There’s a convenience store downstairs for snacks and basics, open until 11 pm on weekends and 10 pm on weekdays. Remember to validate parking at reception to get the lower guest rate. We had a pleasant stay, though the water policy felt very stingy for a four-star hotel. We skipped housekeeping on day two and asked for water, but were told we could only have two bottles. That’s the daily limit per room, even if you ask for more. Other hotels I’ve stayed in, including two- and three-star places, have given extra water when requested.

Booked easily through Booking.com and got a lovely Balinese-themed room on Friday, 1 May 2026. The room was clean and the sheets felt fresh, and it had a bidet. The hot shower kept fluctuating, though, and we got cold while waiting for the water to heat up. The TV had no power connection, and the channel box was wired up strangely.

Everything in the room was comfortable, clean, and in good shape. Parking was close by, and the hotel is near other tourist spots. I’d stay here again if I return.

I’ve visited Melaka many times and had wanted to stay at Swan Hotel for ages. The kids usually insist on their favourite hotel, but this time I finally got to spend one night here, breakfast included. The staff, cleanliness, price, room, breakfast, location, and general convenience were all nice.

The location made it easy to reach nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport. After a long day out, I appreciated how calm and welcoming the place felt. My room was tidy, comfortable, and well kept, with the basic things I needed, and housekeeping did a good job. Staff were polite and helpful when I needed assistance. The price seemed fair for the room and convenient location. I had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back, and I’d happily recommend it.
