I’d wanted to stay in a Peranakan house for a while, so I booked this one when I found it at a reasonable price. The house was bright and recently refurbished, and everything looked good and worked well. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was handy. We were lucky to have a ground-floor room because my 83-year-old mum couldn’t manage the steep traditional stairs to the top floor. The free parking in the white street parking lots was much appreciated throughout our stay.

The decor looks antique and feels really unique. It’s a lovely house for a family trip, and our stay was worth it. I’d recommend it.

There are some good places to eat nearby, and the hotel feels beautifully kept, spacious, and really comfortable. It’s a bit away from the main hotels, but that made for a cooler stay, with no heat exposure.

The host was so thoughtful and even sent us off with some kuihs. We stayed in a lovely restored old shophouse, and the surroundings, bedding, and toilets were all clean. Damien - Singapore

The location is handy for attractions and places to eat. Inside, there’s a luxurious amount of space, it’s well equipped, and the facilities were superb. Very clean too. I’d recommend it to family and friends.
