The rooms were really nice, though the place felt like it was designed for mini people. The parking ramp we had to drive up was so narrow my car nearly got scratched.

There are plenty of well-known local places to eat within walking distance. The location is strategic and makes it easy to connect with the local community.

It was filthy for such a high price. The service was terrible, things were broken, and the guards were rude.

We stayed three nights in July 25. Quartz advertised a separate bedroom with an ensuite, a kitchen with a water purifier, an on-site mini market, a snack vending machine, and a pool open during our stay. The building was also promoted as being in a great location. In reality, the bedroom and kitchen were open plan, the lake view was a puddle, there was no purifier or mini market, and the vending machine was empty. The pool didn't open before 9am, and a guard made sure we couldn't use it. The apartment was also far from Malacca's interesting area, as even our Grab driver wondered why we'd stay there. After we reviewed the place, Quartz accused us of leaving chocolate stains on the sheets and a filthy floor that needed extra cleaning. They denied ever advertising a mini market and said I'd booked the wrong room, which supposedly explained the missing purifier. We hoped they'd take our comments constructively, but instead they challenged our credibility and made accusations about the condition we left the apartment in.
